...so I can tune the shit out of it, and get 500hp out of it, brah!!!

Kinja'd!!!

That was the 17 year old kid inside me, talking. But seriously, this little car is pretty damn cool and cute, and for the sake of diversity, Toyota should sell it in America.

IMO it looks like a middle school girl that applied too much eyeliner & thats fitting because you'd have to be a adolescent boy to be inside the car.

Europe can keep this 60hp subcompact.

Just like when entering the command post a mecha, and the robotic faced, autopilot welcomes you and asks for orders.

It will have a 100hp engine too, and since it is small and light, I think that it is pretty agile too. Chevrolet sells the Spark in America, and that is a lot less interesting than this.

The spark is a good point, but I'm still not a fan of the styling (but thats personal).

As for the engines …. Auto Express calls you a liar.

I'd have a 108, personally. I think it's the best looking of the three, if a mite dull. And I love the old 106—which, admittedly, was a different sort of car, but still.

Kinja'd!!!

Sadly, that GTi rendering is wholly speculative, though there has been some speculation to the effect that Peugeot might actually be planning on making one, powered by a tuned version of the 308's 1.2, producing around 130HP. If they actually do, and it's anywhere near as good as the old 106 GTi - quite possibly one of the best hot hatches ever made - Peugeot could be in for a real renaissance, recalling their 80s/90s glory days.

I'll agree that the 108 is definitely the most mature looking, but I actually like the little C1's looks too.

I really want to find out how the new Twingo drives though.

Oh, so am I. (Start at around 02:25 for most of the best footage.)

...

Looking back at my original post, I somewhat regret trying to write while fuelled entirely by cheap energy drinks. Rereading it is actually causing me some measure of physical discomfort.

Ha, I understood what you were saying. But as for the Twingo ….

Hubba, if I lived in Europe I would seriously consider that car as a DD. I'm one of Oppo's #RwdFanBoys & would love to modify one over time as a owner. I'm sure 90hp is adequate, but damn I can't imagine what 200 would be like.

If I'm honest, a lot of my absolute favouritest cars in the whole world are FWD - hot hatch nut - but I'll admit, the prospect of a crazy little light RWD Renault does make me rather tingly. If I were in the market for a new new car - I pretty much exclusively shop used - I'd be after one myself.
